It begins in the high mountains of the [[Hidden Kingdom]], and flows to the east through the basin of the Alva'atan Jungle, a vast equatorial rainforest, before it turns south, flowing across the dry Northern Plains until it finally empties in the Sea of Snakes near the city of Khesh.
